EvoWalk FAQ

  • The EvoWalk is a functional electrical stimulation (FES) device designed to improve walking ability for individuals with foot drop. It works by stimulating the muscles in your affected leg to help with ankle movement (dorsiflexion) and can assist with knee movement (flexion or extension), which can improve your overall gait and mobility. The device learns your walking pattern and provides stimulation at the right time to maximize the benefits.

  • If you are experiencing foot drop as a result of a stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, or Spinal Cord Injury, you are most likely a good candidate. To be sure, fill out the patient qualification form and we will contact you within 48 hours.

    • Enhanced Walking Ability: Improves gait by addressing muscle weakness and aiding in ankle dorsiflexion and knee movement.

    • Increased Mobility: On average, EvoWalkers take 30% more steps and walk 15% faster after just three months of consistent use.

    • Personalized Treatment: Tailored to your specific needs through clinician-configured settings and advanced AI algorithms that adapt the stimulation to your unique walking patterns.
